| Seatbelt |
A number of important safety functions have been built into the retractor. One is the pre-tensioner system, which detects the shock of a collision and tightens the seatbelt to strongly secure the passenger. The other is the force-limiter to reduce the seatbelt tightening force to avoid injury to the occupant's chest.
